Add Custom Popclips Carousels to Your Online Store

Want to customize the way you showcase your product videos? Create a custom Popclips carousel to control the order and number of Popclips displayed, giving you full flexibility over how your content is presented.

With a custom Popclips carousel, you can highlight specific products, promotions, or seasonal collections in a visually captivating layout. This allows you to tailor the shopping experience by featuring the most relevant videos to your audience, ensuring they engage with the content that matters most.

By selecting the number and order of Popclips, you provide shoppers with a more interactive way to explore your latest offerings, driving more engagement and enhancing their overall shopping experience.

Step 1: Create a Custom Popclips Carousel

Option 1: By Popclips Option 2: By Collections

This feature is only available for the Popclips Basic ($29.99) plan.

1. Select Videeo: Mobile Commerce under the Sales Channel section of your Shopify side menu.
2. Select Manage Popclips under the Popclips tab.
3. Select Create Custom Carousel under the Manage Carousels section.
4. Create a New Custom Carousel.
   • Carousel Title. Enter a title for the custom carousel. We recommend using unique titles. Using the same title for 2 different carousels will not work.
   • Select the option Select By Popclip.
   • Select +Add Popclips.  
     • Select the desired Popclips. Select the green Selected button if you wish to deselect a Popclip.
     • Select a minimum of three Popclips and no maximum limit. 
   • Select Add Selected Popclips at the bottom right corner.
   • Sort the Popclips by views or drag and drop the Popclips to re-arrange in the desired order.
5. Select Save & Publish at the top right corner of the page.

This feature is only available for the Popclips Premium ($149.99) plan. If you are below this plan, you will see a locked button for the Select by Collection option.

1. Select Videeo: Mobile Commerce under the Sales Channel section of your Shopify side menu.
2. Select Manage Popclips under the Popclips tab.
3. Select Create Custom Carousel under the Manage Carousels section.
4. Create a New Custom Carousel.
   • Carousel Title. Enter a title for the custom carousel. We recommend using unique titles. Using the same title for 2 different carousels will not work.
   • Select Popclips. Select the option Select By Collection and select the Select Collection button.
     • Select the desired Collection from the list and click Select. All the Popclips linked to those products in the collection will appear. 
     • Sort the Popclips by views or drag and drop the Popclips to re-arrange in the desired order.
     • Select Replace Collection if you wish to select a different collection.
5. Select Save & Publish at the top right corner of the page.

Step 2: Add Custom Carousel to Your Online Store

After creating the custom carousel, a popup will display the Custom Carousel ID.

1. Select Copy to copy the Custom Carousel ID from the popup.
2. Select Go To Theme Editor. This will redirect you to the Shopify theme customization page.
3. Select the Page from the drop-down at the top on which you want to add the Popclips grid.
4. In the side menu, select Add Section under the part of the page where you wish to add the grid. 
5. Select the Apps tab.
6. Select Custom Carousel from the list.
7. Select the added custom carousel section and paste the copied Custom Carousel ID. You can see the preview of the custom carousel on the page.
8. Once done, select Save at the top right corner of the page.

That’s it! You have successfully added a custom Popclips carousel to your online store.

Manage Custom Carousels

Edit a Custom Carousel

1. Select Videeo: Mobile Commerce under the Sales Channel section of your Shopify side menu.
2. Select Manage Popclips under the Popclips tab.
3. Under the Manage Carousels section select Edit on the right side of the desired custom carousel. You can make edits, like changing the title and replacing the Popclips and Collection in the carousel.
4. Once you have made the changes, select Save at the top right corner of the page.

Delete a Custom Carousel

1. Select Videeo: Mobile Commerce under the Sales Channel section of your Shopify side menu.
2. Select Manage Popclips under the Popclips tab.
3. Under the Manage Carousels section, select Delete on the right side of the desired custom carousel.
4. Select Delete again to confirm. This will delete the custom carousel from the list. 

Deleting a carousel from the manage carousel page will remove it from both the list and the website.
