Install Videeo App for Shopify

You're just one install away from unlocking an exciting new way to interact with and sell products to your customers. Incorporate live sales, shoppable clips, and your very own mobile app to deliver a shopping experience your customers are clamoring for.

You can download the Videeo Mobile Commerce app in the Shopify App Store.

Step 1: Install App from Shopify App Store

 

  1. Enter Videeo in the search bar at the top of your Shopify dashboard.
  2. Hit Enter/Return on your keyboard or select Search for Videeo in the Shopify App Store.
  3. Locate and select Videeo: Shoppable Video & UGC in the Shopify App Store.
  4. On the Videeo app detail page, select Install.
  5. On the Install page, review permissions and then select Install app in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2: Choose Your Plan

  1. Review features and benefits of each available plan, then select Select Plan for your desired plan.
  2. If you have a promo or discount code, Select Have a Coupon Code? at the top right and enter it in the field. Select Apply to the right of the field to apply your discount.
  3. Select Continue at the top-right corner of the page.
  4. Review the plan summary and select Checkout.
  5. On the Approve subscription page, select Approve.

Step 3: Verify Your Account

Once you approve your Videeo plan, you can proceed with installing Videeo's video commerce components—your Mobile App, Popclips, and Live Commerce Hub.

  1. In the Setup Requirements section, enter your email address in the Email field.
  2. Enter your phone number along with your country code in the Phone Number field.
  3. Select the checkbox to the left of the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Select Continue in the bottom-right corner of the section.
  5. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number in the field provided.
  6. Select Verify in the bottom-right corner of the section.

Step 4: Enable Videeo SDK

 

  1. Select Online Store from the side menu.
  2. In the Theme section, select Edit Theme.
  3. Select the App embeds icon on the left.
  4. Enable the Videeo SDK Embed app toggle.
  5. Select Save.
  6. To return to the Videeo installation process, select the Exit icon.
  7. Select Sales Channels, and select Videeo: Mobile Commerce from the dropdown.

Step 5: Publish Products to Videeo Channel

 

  1. Select Publish Now on the Publish products section.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each product you want to publish.
  3. At the top of the page, select the three dots icon, then select Include in sales channels.
  4. In the pop-up, select Videeo: Mobile Commerce.
  5. Select Include products.
  6. To return to the Videeo installation process, select Videeo: Mobile Commerce from the dropdown.

Step 6: Add Your First Popclip

 

  1. Select Add New.
  2. Enter a name for your clip in the Clip Title field.
  3. Add your Popclip:
    • Import from Instagram. Paste the Instagram video link in Paste Video Link field and select Import. Once uploaded, a preview of the clip will appear on the right side of the page.
      • Note.
        • Only links copied directly from Instagram Reels will work. Make sure to use Instagram’s “Copy Link” option to get the correct URL.
        • This feature is available for Popclip plans starting at $29.99 and above. 
    • Import from TikTok. Paste the TikTok video link in the Paste Video Link field and select Import. Once uploaded, a preview of the clip will appear on the right side of the page.
      • Note: This feature is available for Popclip plans starting at $29.99 and above.
    • Upload from Device. Select Add Video in the Upload Video section to select a video file from your device. Once uploaded, a preview of the clip will appear on the right side of the page.
      • Important! Popclips must be a .mp4 file type and no larger than 100MB. We recommend videos 30-45 seconds long. 
      • Note. If you record videos in .mov format, you can convert these videos into .mp4 here.
  4. Add your desired Thumbnail for the Popclip. 
  5. Feature your Popclip on the homepage of your website by selecting the checkbox Feature this Popclips on the Homepage of your store and grab immediate attention of your customers. This will display the Popclips as a mini player on your homepage, ensuring it stands out and engage shoppers effectively. The Featured Popclip is available on the free plan, while Miniplayer repositioning is included in Popclip plans starting at $29.99.
    • Adjust the placement of the Featured Popclip Miniplayer.
      • Select your desired device (Mobile or Desktop).
      • Select the Custom Placement tab.
      • Adjust the Miniplayer as desired.
      • Once done, select Save in the bottom right corner.
  6. Link up to 5 products to the clip by selecting the checkbox in the top-right corner of each product tile. You can use the Search field to quickly locate the product(s) you wish to link.
    • Note. Make sure all the products you wish to link to the Popclip are published to your Videeo sales channel.
  7. Once done, select Save in the top-right corner of the page.
