You will need a DUNS number for your business to launch your iOS mobile app. Depending on how you registered your business, you may already have a DUNS number.
In this article, we walk through how to look up your DUNS number and how to apply for one if you do not already have one.
Look Up Your DUNS Number
- Visit the DUNS Lookup website.
- Select My Company from the Search For drop-down.
- Enter your Legal Business Name in the field provided.
- Select your State from the State drop-down.
- Select Search.
- If the search returns a result for your company, select Email DUNS Number on the right side of the page.
- Enter your email address in the field provided.
Apply for a DUNS Number
If your DUNS number lookup does not return a result, then you will need to apply for a DUNS number. Please note that DUNS numbers can take up to 30 days to process.
- From the lookup results, select Get a New D-U-N-S Number on the right side of the page.
- On the pop-up, select I am a US based business from the drop-down.
- On the Get a D-U-N-S Number page, locate the Free plan. Scroll to the bottom and select Get Started.
- Complete the requested fields on the following screens to register your business.
You’ll receive an email once your DUNS number is available.
