Publish Products and Collections to Videeo Sales Channel

To keep customers engaged with your live sales and mobile app, publish your products to the Videeo sales channel. For mobile shopping apps, publishing collections to Videeo so you can highlight top products and keep your homepage organized for a smooth experience.

• For products you created in Shopify before installing Videeo, you will need to manually publish these products to Videeo. You have the option to do this by individual product and in bulk.
• For products you’ll create in Shopify after installing Videeo, you can build an automation that will automatically publish new products to Videeo.
• For existing collections, you will need to manually publish a collection. You can do this by individual collection or in bulk.

Publish Products Individually

1. Select Products in the side menu of your Shopify dashboard.
2. Select the Product Name for the product you want to publish to Videeo.
3. In the Publishing section on the right side of the page, select the three dots icon.
4. Select Manage sales channels from the options listed.
5. On the pop-up, select the checkbox to the left of Videeo Live Shopping by CS.
6. Select Done in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.
7. Select Save in the top-right corner of the product record.

Once you publish a product to the Videeo sales channel, you should see an updated count in the number of products available to Videeo in the Product Status section of your Videeo sales channel.

Publish Products in Bulk

1. Select Products in the side menu of your Shopify dashboard.
2. Select the checkbox to the left of each product you want to publish to Videeo.
3. In the tile at the bottom of the page, select the three dots icon on the far right.
4. Select Include in sales channels from the options listed.
5. On the pop-up, select the checkbox to the left of Videeo Live Shopping by CS.
6. Select Include products in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.

Once you publish products to the Videeo sales channel, you should see an updated count in the number of products available to Videeo in the Product Status section of your Videeo sales channel.

Create an Automation to Publish New Products

To create an automation that publishes products automatically, install the free Shopify Flow app. 

Step 1: Create Workflow

1. Select Apps in the side menu of your Shopify Dashboard.
2. Select Flow from the drop-down that appears at the top of the page.
3. Within Flow, select Create workflow in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2: Define Trigger

1. Select Select a trigger.
2. In the Triggers side menu, select Shopify Admin API.
3. Use the Search field to locate Product added to store. Select this trigger once located.

Step 3: Define Action

1. In your workflow, select the blue + Then button in the bottom-right corner of the trigger.
2. Select Action.
3. In the Actions side menu, select Shopify Admin API.
4. Use the Search field to locate Publish product. Select this trigger once located.
5. Select Select publications to the right of the Publication field.
6. On the pop-up, locate and select the checkbox to the left of Videeo Live Shopping by CS.
7. Select Done in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.

Step 4: Enable Workflow

1. Select Turn on workflow in the top-right corner of the page.
2. On the pop-up, confirm your action and select Turn on.

You can select Exit in the top-left corner of the page to navigate back to your Shopify dashboard. With your new workflow enabled, any time you or a member of your team adds a product to Shopify, that product will automatically publish to Videeo.

What if I want to get specific about which products automatically sync? You do have the option of adding conditions to the workflow, such as product category or collection. You can learn more about adding conditions to Shopify Flow workflows here.

Publish Collections

By publishing collections to Videeo, you can highlight top products and bundles in your branded mobile app. Collections also help organize products for a smooth browsing experience. You can publish collections individually or in bulk. We walk through both options below.

Note: Publishing a collection to Videeo will not automatically publish the products included in that collection to Videeo. You will still need to publish the products either individually or in bulk.

Publish Collections Individually

1. Select Products in the side menu of your Shopify dashboard, then select Collections.
2. Select the Title of the collection you want to publish to Videeo.
3. In the Publishing selection on the right side of the page, select Manage.
4. On the pop-up, select the checkbox to the left of Videeo Live Shopping by CS.
5. Select Done in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.
6. Select Save in the top-right corner of the collection record.

Publish Collections in Bulk

1. Select Products in the side menu of your Shopify dashboard, then select Collections.
2. Select the checkbox to the left of each collection you want to publish to Videeo.
3. At the bottom of the page, select Include in sales channel.
4. On the pop-up, select the checkbox to the left of Videeo Live Shopping by CS.
5. Select Include collections in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.
